About worship services
 At
Belconnen Baptist, we see a church where the services are filled
with people worshipping God in Spirit and Truth, where the Holy
Spirit changes lives, and all are inspired to live the ways of
Christ.
We offer three Sunday Worship Services for the
purpose of God’s people coming together to:
- Celebrate God’s Greatness (through songs)
- Equip People To Live God’s Way (through preaching)
- Encourage Christian Community (through prayer, testimonies,
and fellowship)
Times of Services
Saturday 5pm
Informal service involving contemporary
worship with multi-media, testimonies, communion once a month and
relevant and biblical preaching. Opportunities for prayer are given
to those who need to respond to the moving of God's Spirit. Children
attend for the first 15 or so minutes then go off to their exciting
activities. Refreshments are offered sometimes during the service or
afterwards.
Sunday 8.45am
Contemporary service, involving impacting worship, communion once
a month, multi-media, items and relevant and
biblical preaching. Opportunities for prayer
are given to those who need to respond to the moving of
God’s Spirit.
Sunday 10.30am
Contemporary service, involving impacting worship, communion once
a month, multi-media, items and relevant and
biblical preaching. Opportunities for prayer
are given to those who need to respond to the moving of
God’s Spirit.
Sunday 6.30pm
Informal contemporary service, involving energetic worship, communion
once a month, multi-media, items and relevant
and biblical preaching. Opportunities for prayer are given to those
who need to respond to the moving of God’s Spirit.
