Immerse Institute Semester One 2008 Subject List
THE MARRIAGE COURSE
Do you want to gain more skills to help you grow together and deepen
your intimacy with your husband/wife?
The marriage course is a new and exciting course developed by the
Church who brought us Alpha. It is based on Christian Principles but
is suitable for non-church goers. This course if for anyone who is
married, whatever stage they are at. No sharing with the group, lots
of time to talk to each other and it is fun.
BBC is running the 8 week course starting
Tuesday 29th July.
Cost is $50 per couple.

EPIC–Term 1 Program
Epic Youth - “Sports
spectacular”—Friday
15th August
7pm
here at the Church. It’s true Aussies love their sports so we
thought we’d have a night of great sports events, did you know they
call chess a sport? Bring a mate and enjoy a huge night @ epic
youth, there will be trophies and goodies. Cost is $2. See you
there.

A VISIT TO THE DOULOS
The “Doulos” is a private, non-profit, charitable organization, and
this oldest ocean-going passenger ship will be visiting Sydney in
August. Doulos has stops in over 500 ports around the world
supplying literature, encouraging intercultural understanding,
training young people and bringing knowledge, help and sharing a
message of Hope in God. A day trip (by bus) one Saturday in mid-August is being organised to leave from BBC. If you are interested
in a special tour of this amazing ship, please indicate on a connect
card or speak to Clayton Riddle.

MUMS’ NIGHT OUT—“THROUGH
HIS EYES”—Friday 29th August
at 7.O0pm in the Community Centre. Mums/carers of babies to
preschoolers make a note in your diary. We will share Turkish pizzas
and dessert and hear from two dads at BBC with 9 children between
them. Cost is $5. RSVP to the Information Window.

BBC CHOIR
- Do you love to sing to worship?
New members are very welcome to join us for rehearsals at the Church
Centre on Monday nights from 18th August until the 15th September
from 7:00pm - 9:00pm. The choir will be preparing for the morning

BUSY BEES
PLAYTIME
has recommenced on
Monday, Tuesday and Friday between 9:30am
and 11:30am. Children 0 - 5 and their parents and carers are welcome
to attend. This term we have an Action bus wash
excursion, a teddy bear's picnic in the park and fun craft
activities planned. New families are welcome.

serve morning tea; help care for children in creche; help run our

to speak English or improve your English skills; help teach English.

BBC LIBRARY
Our Library, which contains many books and resources, is currently
shelved over in the Community Centre. For your convenience each
Sunday there will be a small selection of books left on tables in
the foyer for you to borrow, read and return. Please enter your name
