Aged Care
Our aim for this ministry is to forge links between Canberra
Nursing Home and our Church community through contact, worship,
fellowship
and care.We conduct services on the 3rd Tuesday of the Month
at 2 pm and the 5th Sunday of the month at 11 am.
YAHOOS (Young at Heart or Older Set)
This is an an informal group where the senior members of our
church family and community can come together for friendship, fellowship
and outings. YAHOOS (Young at Heart or Older Set) are BBC people
(and their friends or contacts) d’un certain âge
(as the French say) who would like to engage in informal social
activities with people in the same (broad) age category. What
age group are we talking about here? Well, the lower end of the
scale is very flexible, and there is definitely no age barrier
at the upper end of the scale. Arthritis is not a prerequisite
and Seniors cards are optional. The name of the group is an indication
of the kind of people who may want to become members.
